Show and Tell Tuesday: Yummy!

This show and tell challenge was kinda tough for me. My kids, and myself included, are the meat and potatoes kinda eaters. "Very bland" is how we've been described! So I wanted to come up with a not-so-bland eating experience for my show-and-tell this week. Crazy, ethnic restaurants--out of the question. Build your own -insert item here-. Nope. The boys would just add ketchup and be done. Then the A-HA moment hit.

We have this place called TradersPoint Creamery just north of town. It's an actual working farm with cows and all that, but it's also a tourist attraction. One could take a self-guided tour and follow it up with a little taste-test of all the products the cows provide. My boys do love cheese. And they do love ice cream. And we do love us some hamburgers (yes, provided by the cows).

So tasty! And I'd love to show you just how tasty (since it is called SHOW and tell) but when I got out my camera to document our trip, I realized I'd left the memory card in the laptop at home!!! So if you all could just picture a 4 and 2 year old happily licking ice cream (vanilla, of course) and it running down over their chubby little fingers I'd appreciate it!

Your turn to Show and Tell! How did you do YUMMY! ? I hope you remembered your camera (and memory card!).

Next Week's Challenge: Quiet!

Trying out food from a local farm sounds like fun! I'll have to look one up. Thanks for the idea.
